I Built Head 2 Toe Strength Because Strength Should Never Cost You Trust in Your Body
Too many women and female athletes are taught to ignore pain, override exhaustion, shrink themselves, or keep performing without a real plan.
Head 2 Toe Strength was built differently: with sport science, strength, recovery, and respect for the whole person underneath the performance.

FOUNDER, SPORT SCIENTIST & STRENGTH SPECIALIST
I’m a sport and exercise scientist, strength specialist, former softball player, and coach with more than 15 years of experience studying and coaching strength, performance, movement, and recovery.
My work centers on the body underneath the performance: how female athletes build strength, recover, adapt to training, return from setbacks, and develop bodies that can handle the demands of their sport without being taught to ignore every signal along the way.
I bring exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, sport science, nutrition, and real-world coaching together to create training that is evidence-based, individualized, and actually built around the person in front of me.

Why I Built Head 2 Toe Strength
I learned early what happens when people stop listening to the person inside the body.
When I was 12, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. For five years, I watched her fight for answers in a healthcare system that had repeatedly missed what was happening. I lost her when I was 17.
That experience changed the way I think about listening, expertise, and the responsibility professionals have to pay attention.
Years later, I found myself fighting a different version of the same battle. I dealt with anorexia, overtraining, severe migraines, hypothyroidism, PCOS, and a body that kept giving me information I had been taught to override. Too often, the answer I received was some version of “just lose weight.”
So I went looking for better answers.
I worked full-time while putting myself through school and eventually earned my Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Science. I studied exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, human performance, recovery, and how the body adapts to training.
And the more I learned, the more obvious something became:
Bodies are not problems to overpower. They are systems to understand.
That belief became the foundation of Head 2 Toe Strength.
I wanted to build the kind of coaching environment I rarely saw growing up in sports or later in fitness: one where strength and performance mattered, but so did the human being doing the work.
That means we pay attention.
We look at training history, recovery, pain, stress, movement, sport demands, confidence, and what the body is actually telling us. We adjust when something changes. We build strength without teaching people to fear their bodies or prove their toughness by ignoring them.
For female athletes especially, that matters.
Too many girls are given skill work, practices, tournaments, conditioning, and expectations—but very little education about how to build a body that can handle all of it.
That is the gap I want Head 2 Toe Strength to help close.
The goal isn't to create athletes who ignore every signal and push through everything.
It's to build strong, capable humans who understand their bodies, trust the information those bodies give them, and have the physical foundation to keep doing what they love.
