PlayLA 2026 Vendor Village

  • The Rinks - Lakewood Ice 3975 Pixie Avenue Lakewood, California, 90712 United States (map)

I stood by my table at that tournament for 2 days, and honestly? It broke my heart.

I didn't see "cases" or "clinical profiles." I saw women who are completely exhausted from living in pain and calling it normal.

  • I saw women who are already terrified of their own knees. They had ACL reconstructions years ago, but they still don't trust their own legs to hold them up. They are in the prime of their lives and are already playing scared.

  • I saw women who went through major surgeries, total hip and knee replacements that were supposed to "fix" everything, who are still hurting every single day because nobody actually fixed the way their bodies move.

  • I heard one horrific physical therapy story after another. Women who were treated like numbers on an assembly line, handed a generic copy-pasted sheet of exercises, and left in a corner of a busy clinic while a therapist juggled four other patients.

  • I met women who have been paying for weekly massages for twenty years just to survive. They laid on my table for 10 minutes, and when they stood up, they looked like they wanted to cry because their neck and back hadn't felt that light or pain-free in decades.

Do you know what the real tragedy is? A complete loss of trust in their own bodies.

These are incredible, tough-as-nails women. But they have been completely let down by a medical system that looks at a scan, says "everything looks normal," and tells them to just suck it up and live with it.

We have built a culture that expects women to brace, tighten up, and push through agonizing pain until something literally snaps.

I need you to hear me on this: You are an absolute badass. But you do not have to be in pain all the time to prove it.

If your lower back screams every time you squat, if your neck is so locked up you can barely turn your head to look behind you, or if you are running on pure willpower because you are afraid of your own joints, stop waiting for it to magically get better.

Your body isn't broken. It’s just tired of fighting.

Let's get you on the table, actually listen to what your body has been going through, and get your trust back.
