Questions Are Welcome Here
Get clear, honest answers about how Head 2 Toe Strength works.
INTEGRATED CARE FOR YOUR BODY, MIND, HISTORY, AND CAPACITY.
Getting Started
Do I need to be in shape to start?
Absolutely not.
Most of our clients come to us because they are in pain, recovering from injury, returning after time away, burned out, or unsure how to trust their bodies again.
You do not need a base level of fitness to begin.
We meet your body where it is today and build from there.
What happens on the 15-minute consultation?
It is a conversation, not a high-pressure sales pitch.
We will talk about what is bringing you here, what you have tried before, what kind of support you are looking for, and whether Head 2 Toe Strength is the right fit.
If coaching, therapy, the Reclamation Audit™, Heart Beats, or another starting point makes sense, we will guide you there.
If we are not the right fit, we will tell you honestly.
Where should I start?
If you want Bethany’s eyes on your actual body, start with the H2T Reclamation Audit™.
If you want a live group experience, explore Heart Beats.
If you are looking for private coaching, begin with a consultation so we can determine whether the H2T Master Blueprint™ or another coaching path is the right fit.
If you are looking for therapy, Auria provides virtual therapy for clients located in California.
Who We Support
Who is Head 2 Toe Strength for?
Head 2 Toe Strength supports women, female athletes, LGBTQIA+ adults, and people who have been dismissed or misunderstood in traditional fitness, healthcare, or wellness spaces.
We often work with:
Women rebuilding after injury, burnout, or chronic stress
Female athletes across the full spectrum of sport
Dancers, runners, lifters, softball players, and adult recreational athletes
High-capacity professionals carrying physical and emotional exhaustion
LGBTQIA+ adults seeking affirming support
Women of color seeking culturally aware care
People who are tired of being told to push through, shrink, or start over
Do I have to be an athlete?
No.
At Head 2 Toe Strength, athlete does not only mean elite, collegiate, or professional.
If your body participates in sport, movement, training, dance, lifting, running, recreation, or competition, you belong in the athlete conversation.
You do not have to be elite to deserve high-level care.
Is this a weight loss program?
No.
Head 2 Toe Strength does not sell weight loss, body punishment, or aesthetic transformation.
We support strength, capacity, nourishment, recovery, performance, emotional resilience, and trust in your body.
Your value is not tied to your size.
How Head 2 Toe Strength Works
Who are you?
Head 2 Toe Strength is an integrated practice co-founded by:
Bethany Busch, MS, CSCS, ACSM-EP — exercise physiologist, strength and performance coach
Auria Zahed, MS, LMFT — licensed therapist serving clients located in California
Together, we integrate strength coaching, nourishment, performance support, and therapy so your physical and mental health are not treated like separate problems.
We are not affiliated with any other “Head to Toe” gym, clinic, or brand.
What makes Head 2 Toe Strength different?
We are not a standard gym, a generic app, or a one-size-fits-all wellness program.
Head 2 Toe Strength combines exercise physiology, strength coaching, performance nutrition, and licensed psychotherapy inside one integrated ecosystem.
That means we look at the full picture: your movement, injury history, stress, nervous system, fueling, identity, capacity, goals, and lived experience.
Our goal is not to force a transformation.
Our goal is to help you stop managing your body alone.
Why should I choose this over a standard gym or fitness app?
A standard gym gives you equipment.
A generic app gives you a template.
Neither one can fully account for your injury history, stress load, nervous system, fueling, emotional burnout, or the way your body has learned to compensate.
At Head 2 Toe Strength, we do not just hand you workouts.
We help you build a strategy that fits your actual body and life.
What does “fitness without toxic culture” mean?
It means no shame-based coaching.
No pushing through pain.
No “earn your food” messaging.
No body comparison.
No guilt-based motivation.
No aesthetic chasing.
No performance theatrics.
No treating exhaustion as proof that the work is working.
You get movement that honors your body, your boundaries, and your goals.
Therapy, Coaching & Nutrition
What does therapy include?
Auria’s therapy practice supports adults navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, perfectionism, anxious relational patterns, identity development, emotional regulation, and past experiences that shape current behaviors.
Her approach is warm, direct, culturally fluent, and grounded in humanistic, CBT, and attachment-based frameworks.
Therapy services are available virtually to clients located in California.
What does coaching include?
Bethany’s coaching may include strength training, movement assessment, injury-history-informed programming, nutrition support, performance strategy, recovery planning, and form review depending on the client’s goals and starting point.
Coaching is not therapy, medical treatment, or a replacement for care from your licensed medical provider.
Do you offer meal plans?
Yes, when appropriate.
Nutrition support is built through a weight-inclusive, dignity-centered lens. The goal is not restriction or punishment. The goal is to support energy, recovery, training, consistency, and real life.
Bethany’s nutrition work draws from exercise physiology, Precision Nutrition training, and sustainable behavior change.
Location, Payment & Policies
Where are you located?
In-person coaching and Lab experiences are located in Laguna Hills, California.
Remote coaching is available nationally.
Therapy with Auria is available virtually to clients located in California.
Do you take insurance or offer medical receipts?
No.
Head 2 Toe Strength is a private-pay practice.
We do not interface with insurance, provide superbills, offer HSA/FSA documentation, or issue itemized medical receipts.
We have intentionally chosen to stay outside the insurance system so support can be shaped around the person in front of us rather than insurance codes, rushed timelines, or third-party standards of care.
Why private pay?
Private pay allows us to build support around your actual needs, goals, history, and capacity.
It gives us room to think, collaborate, and provide care that is not limited by restrictive reimbursement systems.
Still Have Questions?
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Tell us where you are, what you are carrying, and what kind of support you are looking for. We will help you find the right starting point.
