THE H2T METHOD

We built the care we needed.

Master-level exercise physiology and licensed psychotherapy, unified in one ecosystem for women, female athletes, LGBTQ+ adults, and people tired of managing their body and mental health like separate problems.

You should not have to be your own healthcare project manager.

You may have been passed between trainers, therapists, doctors, nutrition advice, fitness programs, and self-help tools while still feeling like no one was looking at the full picture.

Your body was treated separately from your mind.
Your pain was treated separately from your history.
Your stress was treated separately from your movement.
Your identity was treated separately from your care.

At Head 2 Toe Strength, we found that the missing link was not another isolated service.

It was a shared framework where strength coaching, nourishment, and therapy could work together when that kind of support fits your life.

That is the H2T Method.

Who We are: The Strength Coach & The Therapist

Head 2 Toe Strength was not born from a corporate business plan.

It began with two practitioners trading knowledge to support each other’s growth: Bethany through exercise physiology, strength, and structural resilience; Auria through psychotherapy, emotional safety, and identity-centered care.

Through that process, we experienced firsthand what happens when physical resilience and psychological support stop living in separate rooms.

We realized this was the missing link so many women and LGBTQ+ adults had been searching for: care that understands the body, mind, nervous system, identity, culture, and lived experience as one connected whole.

Today, Head 2 Toe Strength is an integrated practice where strength, nourishment, and therapy can work together instead of asking you to manage them alone.

The Three Wings of the H2T Method

Clinical Strength & Structural Resilience

Strength is not punishment.

It is not lifting to failure, overriding pain, or proving your worth through intensity.

Under Bethany’s guidance, clients rebuild strength through precise, individualized movement that respects joint health, injury history, nervous system capacity, sport demands, and real-life energy.

The goal is not to break you down.

The goal is to help your body feel safer, stronger, and more trustworthy.

Weight-Inclusive Nourishment

We operate outside of diet culture and weight-centric care.

Your value is not tied to your size, and your body does not need to be punished into compliance.

Instead of restriction, shame, or obsessive tracking, we focus on nourishment: helping your body get the energy, consistency, and support it needs to train, recover, heal, and take up space.

This is food support built around dignity, not fear.

Culturally Competent Therapy

Therapy is not an add-on here.

At H2T, mental health is built into the model because the body and mind are not separate projects.

Auria Zahed, MS, LMFT provides culturally competent therapy for women and LGBTQ+ adults in California, with support for anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, identity, attachment, emotional resilience, and the lived experiences that shape how safe you feel in your life.

Therapy can exist alongside strength coaching when integrated care fits your goals.

What Makes H2T Different

Most care systems ask you to split yourself into pieces.

At Head 2 Toe Strength, we do not.

We look at how your movement, strength, pain patterns, fueling, nervous system, emotional health, identity, culture, and lived experience shape the way you move through the world.

You do not need to be reduced to a symptom, a diagnosis, a workout plan, or a mindset problem.

You need support that can hold the whole pattern.

Years in the Making

Real support is not a 30-day challenge.

We build relationships that can hold the complexity of real bodies, real lives, and real healing.

Coaching Client

“Bethany is a real badass. She will devise a training program specially catered to your needs, wants, and physical limitations. Just had surgery? No problem. Bethany will adjust your program with a rehab-informed approach that supports recovery safely and effectively. Throughout the process, she teaches you why we do a specific workout and the science behind it. There is never a dull moment, and that is what keeps me coming back every week.”

Therapy Client

“Working with Auria was more than just therapy, it was a lifeline. She created a space where I felt seen, heard, and understood. Through our sessions, I learned how to process emotions in a way that felt safe, and for the first time, I felt empowered to take control of my mental health. Auria’s guidance wasn’t just clinical; it was deeply personal, intuitive, and exactly what I needed.”
