Bethany Busch on Being Featured in VoyageLA
I didn’t expect to be featured in VoyageLA.
And I definitely didn’t expect to cry while reading it.
This wasn’t a highlight reel. It was the truth behind the grind: chronic pain, burnout, misdiagnosis, and the refusal to shrink. It was about how Auria and I—two women who met through movement—accidentally built a wellness practice that feels more like a rebellion than a business.
We didn’t plan this.
We just knew what we needed didn’t exist.
So we built it.
What We Said Out Loud
In the interview, we talked about:
How Head 2 Toe Strength started with shared healing, not strategy
Why we refuse to dilute our message for partnerships or polish
What it means to offer care that’s protective, personal, and rooted in lived experience
We named the hard stuff:
The emotional labor of being women in wellness
The financial strain of bootstrapping something real
The constant recalibration to stay in integrity while still showing up
And we said the thing that matters most:
You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to shrink to be seen. You just have to show up—and we’ll meet you there.
What We Didn’t Say (But You Should Know)
We didn’t talk about the late nights.
The moments we almost quit.
The way Dakota and Dublin have carried us through more than one breakdown.
We didn’t talk about how hard it is to build something that refuses to perform wellness.
Or how powerful it is when women finally exhale in our sessions.
But that’s the heartbeat of Head 2 Toe Strength.
And it’s why this feature matters.

We built this for the ones who’ve been told they’re too much. You’re not. You’re home.
